The Diploma aims to improve the overall performance of those individuals operating within a sales environment by offering high quality and exclusive sales training. No other course within the UK combines over 30 years of commercial experience with business theory and proven market research in the same way.
The Diploma is divided into four units spread over 12 months, with two contact days per unit. Each unit focuses on specific skills that delegates need to meet the challenges its subject matter brings. A work based assignment will be completed as part of each of the units and each assignment will be relevant to the individual’s organisation. In summary, the Diploma will teach many fundamental selling skills necessary to survive and prosper in today’s environment, including how to:
- Research new markets and develop the best way to sell them
- Communicate effectively with every level of client
- Plan and carry out complex sales campaigns
- Take advantage of internal politics which influence a client’s decision making process
- Establish your company as the suppler of choice
Contact days include role plays which help develop various aspects of verbal skills, such as uncovering business and personal needs, making effective presentations as well as asking for commitments from the prospect or client. Planning skills are essential to all units as is the ability to analyse and problem solve.
