History

The business was started by Dermot Bradley as Advanced Sales Skills Training (ASST) in 1979. It has since evolved into the consulting, research and training business that we are today. Over 20,000 people have been trained in our methodologies to date.

In 2002 Advanced Selling (Advanced Selling Skills Academy Ltd t/a) was founded by Mike Wilkinson and Miles Bentley and operated in association with ASST.

Three years later, in August 2005, Advanced Selling acquired the intellectual property of ASST. Dermot Bradley is still very much involved and working with Advance to develop our international consultancy and training business.

Advanced Selling acquired Business Skills Training in January 2007.

Over 28 years on from its original conception, January 2008 saw the relaunch of the brand as Advance.

Today’s company is a consulting, research and training business that specialises in performance improvement in every aspect of business development. We use a unique integrated approach that combines experience based consultancy with modern training and technology to deliver profitable business growth for our customers.
